Meeting nutritional needs can support growth and development, provide the nutrients and energy needed for wound healing, support the immune system, help manage concerns such as constipation, and contribute to overall quality of life.
Caitlin Cacioppo, MS, RDN, CDE, a Clinical Dietitian at Children’s Hospital Colorado and community advocate Rachel Nasuti, presented on this topic at the 2026 debra Care Conference (DCC).
