Chiesi GRD, a family-owned and operated biopharmaceutical company, is committed to providing transformative care to patients with rare diseases. In December 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Filsuvez®, a topical gel developed by Chiesi GRD, for the treatment of Junctional and Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa.

"At Chiesi Global Rare Diseases we are driven by a need to alleviate the burdens faced in the rare disease community by providing innovative therapies and solutions that address debilitating unmet needs,” shares Giacomo Chiesi, Head of Chiesi GRD

As a Diamond Sponsor of the DCC, Chiesi GRD demonstrates their unwavering dedication to supporting our EB Community. They have planned fun activities and an informative session for our families attending the conference. On Monday, July 29, at 12:30 PM, Dr. Lara Wine Lee will provide an update on the FDA-approved Filsuvez® for JEB and DEB. Additionally, at their exhibitor booth throughout the span of the conference, guests can participate in an interactive Butterfly Garden, where you can draw and color your unique butterfly and watch it come alive in a beautiful landscape!

As a B Corporation, Chiesi GRD is committed to sustainability and to the environment. They will plant a tree to honor each person who visits their exhibitor booth at the DCC. Help them reach their goal of 150 trees! The total number of trees planted in honor of the EB Community will be announced after the conference.

As we count down the weeks until the DCC, we are immensely grateful to Chiesi GRD for their unwavering support of the EB Community. Together with our dedicated partners, debra continues to pave the way towards a brighter future for all those affected by EB.

See you in Atlanta, EB Community!
